When I first introduced the Restoring the Village Project, my heart was to strengthen families, support communities, and remind people that no one was designed to carry life alone.
I still believe that.
God used my own journey to show me the importance of encouragement, mentorship, accountability, and healthy community. I watched Him use family, hardship, healing, work, and even ordinary moments to teach me that people flourish when they serve and support one another.
But over time, the Lord continued to refine the vision.
I realized the village was never the destination.
The Kingdom is.
The purpose of strengthening families, encouraging communities, and collaborating with others isn’t simply to create healthier people—it’s to fulfill the mission Jesus gave His Church.
The Great Commission.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19–20
As I studied Scripture, I began seeing the same pattern everywhere.
The Church isn’t merely a gathering of believers.
It is a body.
Every member has been given gifts.
Every gift has a purpose.
Every believer has a role in equipping others and advancing God’s Kingdom.
That realization expanded the vision beyond restoring communities.
It became about mobilizing disciples.
From Restoring the Village to Restoring the Kingdom
The Restoring the Kingdom Commission builds upon everything the Restoring the Village Project represented—but broadens its focus.
We are still passionate about strengthening families.
We still care deeply about children, educators, caregivers, and communities.
But now we recognize those efforts as part of something even greater:
Participating in Christ’s mission to make disciples.
The Restoring the Kingdom Commission brings together disciples, creatives, skilled tradespeople, educators, ministries, families, entrepreneurs, healthcare professionals, builders, pilots, artists, and professionals from every walk of life.
Not because everyone does the same work—
but because every gift belongs in God’s Kingdom.
Whether someone teaches, designs, repairs, builds, writes, mentors, creates, farms, serves, or leads, every vocation can become ministry when surrendered to Christ.
Our Mission
Our mission is to cultivate disciples who:
- Know God
- Commune with God
- Respond to God
- Walk with God
- Become Like Christ
As disciples mature, they naturally begin serving others with the gifts God has entrusted to them.
This is how the Body of Christ grows.
This is how communities are strengthened.
This is how the Kingdom becomes visible.
One Body. Many Gifts. One Mission.
We believe our mandate isn’t merely to convince people that God is real.
Our mandate is to reveal His character by making disciples who faithfully reflect Him.
As we serve one another, steward our gifts, and collaborate across every sphere of society, we bear witness to God’s Kingdom in both word and deed.
The Restoring the Village Project helped us see the importance of community.
The Restoring the Kingdom Commission calls us into the greater work of discipleship.
Because restoring communities is good.
Making disciples is the mission.
